WV Craft Beer & Cheese Pairing at the Iron Horse Tavern May 13th

Cheese Meet Beer

In celebration of American Craft Beer Week, be sure to visit Morgantown’s Iron Horse Tavern on May 13th for a special West Virginia Craft Beer and international cheese pairing event, brought to you by Chef Marion Ohlinger formerly of the Richwood Grill. The event starts at 7pm and the cost is $40 per person.

Iron Horse will be highlighting brews from five WV Breweries, including our own Blackwater Brewing Company, Big Timber Brewing, Morgantown Brewing Company, Chestnut Brew Works and Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company.

Gjetost: Pasteurized Goat’s and Cow’s Milk, Norway.
Paired with Gardner Farms Sorghum Tamari Pork Loin and Wood Hick Vanilla Maple Baltic Porter from Blackwater Brewing Company

Beehive Farmstead: Pasteurized Cow’s Milk, United States.
Paired with Fossil Farms Venison Sliders and
Dry Stout from Big Timber Brewing

Blue Cheshire: Unpasteurized Cow’s Milk, England.
Paired with housemade Bangers & Grilled Apples and
80 Schilling Scotch Ale from Morgantown Brewing Company

Vacherin Mont d’or Alpage: Unpasteurized Cow’s Milk, Switzerland.
Paired with Caramelized Fondue and Chestnut Brew Works, LLC Special Cask Ale

Ardi-Gasna: Unpasteurized Sheep’s Milk, Basque French.
Paired with Pate’ au Poulet and Goldenrod Golden Ale from Blackwater Brewing Company

Pata Cabra: Pasteurized Goat’s Milk, Spain.
Paired with Orange Brioche and Lilly Dipper Wit from Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company
